Snips & Snails/Sugar & Spice

Boys in grades 2-5 are doing a study on what it means to be an honorable boy.
This Week's Lesson is from Joshua 1:6-9, 3:1-17
Scripture Memory Joshua 4:14
Homework... Read Joshua 6:1-27 with your son. Talk about ways in which Joshua was honorable.
After Moses died, the Lord told Joshua he would lead the Israelites. God had instructions for Joshua to obey. In order to be an honorable leader, Joshua had to listen carefully to the Lord and follow His commands.

Girls in grades 2-5 are doing a lesson on our attitudes and what it means to guard our hearts.
The week's lesson comes from Proverbs 4:23
Homework... When you are tempted to complain, stop and make a list of three things you are thankful for. Examine your heart. Ask God to help you notice when your attitude is bad and to change your heart.
Scripture Memory (pick at least one)
Philippians 4:8
Colossians 3:2
